Praises received for Tai Po Dragons Rugby Festival 2005

Thank you for the invitation to the Tai Po Dragons Festival.  It was a really good day of Mini rugby and a fine example to the Hong Kong Sports community. 

I and all others who attended, thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and thank you for all your considerable efforts.

On behalf of the mini union, many thanks to you and your team for all the hard work that went into arranging another very enjoyable festival.  Congratulations also on your fund-raising efforts.  I understand that the charity touch rugby games raised $13,100 (including TPD's one for one contribution and the Union's five for one contribution).  Please correct me if I am wrong, but I believe this money will be going to the Red Cross.
 
In addition, I am pleased to report to everyone that the mini union's bucket ended up raising $25,574.10.  This includes TPD's contribution of the profit from the sales of toys etc ($4,000).  A considerable proportion of the balance is attributable to F&B sales.  It is impossible to be precise about the amount raised there because the same bucket was used in gathering "general" donations.  However, it is clear that Delaney's deserve a huge round of applause for being responsible for a significant proportion of the overall total.  Many thanks to you and your team Noel.  The full amount has been deposited to the mini union's account today.  A copy of the deposit slip is attached.  As previously advised, we propose to split this money equally between Operation Santa Claus (UNICEF) and Save the Children.  Madam Treasurer (aka Daisy), please can we issue cheques for $12,787.05 to each of them. 
 
All clubs, please pass on our thanks once again to all of your members who contributed so generously, and once again, sincere thanks and congratulations to TPD.

Our U12 Coach, Lawrence Webb, unfortunately lost his mobile phone during the day. It’s a Motorola V878. Please let me know if anyone reports finding it.

Believe it should now be a great relief for you folks and the whole team after some minor hiccups but ended up with such a success event on last Sunday. All our kids really enjoyed the event, particularly U12 where my boy is one of them was only beaten by VF, the winner, by 1 'unexpected' try.

First of all, thanks a lot for the last Week end Tournament. We had a terrific day, memorable for all. Much obliged also for the re-arrangement of the schedule.
We were able to contribute fully to the games.
 
I have just a last problem. Do you have the results of the Valley Fort under 8 team. Pitch Marshals were taking these very seriously at the end of each game. To be frank we have lost track of few games and would be much obliged if you were able to send me these.
